PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Carnivorous plants are rare and fascinating
plants that, able to colonise very poor
soils, developed their ability to trap
and digest their pray in order to have
an alternate source of nutrients. These
special conditions forced the metabolism
of these plants to produce a very unique
phytocomplex.
ADIPO-TRAP is produced using sundew, a
plant characterized by glandular tentacles,
topped with sticky secretions, that cover
its leaves/trap. The sundew is able to move
its tentacles in response to contact with
prey. Sundew phytocomplex is able to
modulate adipocyte metabolism acting as
a slimming, re-shaping and anti-cellulite
active ingredient.
During in vitro tests performed using
preadipocyte and adipocyte, ADIPO-TRAP
was able to prevent fat accumulation and
to reduce the adipocyte size, showing an
efficient lipolysis effect.
In a within-patient clinical trial, ADIPO-TRAP
was shown to be able to efficiently act as a
slimming and reshaping active ingredient
and to start reducing cellulite and celluliterelated
pain just after 2 weeks.
